This treadmill is a real gem and the price can’t be beat. I decided to buy a manual treadmill because it was less expensive and I won’t have to worry about the motor giving out, etc. And I know Stamina makes a good product. It was easy to assemble and I find it as easy to use as a friend’s motorized one, to be honest. With sneakers on (naturally), I can’t tell the difference. It’s also more compact than the treadmills with all the bells and whistles. I highly recommend this product.

I am person that the package is always missing some parts, the directions are not clear, and I can never get the darn thing assembled in a reasonable amount of time, not so with this product and assembly was a snap! Great product and needed no belt adjustments right out of the box. The slight elevation gives a good workout for someone my age of 66 years old. I am more than completely satisfied with this product. I don’t recommend this product for running but for slow to medium to a brisk walk this is excellent. Good job Amazon for offering this treadmill.

I bought this treadmill for my mother (for her birthday) because she wanted to lose weight. It arrived at a timely manner, and it didn’t take long for me to put it together. The belt was a problem at first even after applying the WD40, but the belt finally stop moving towards the left. The directions instruct you to twist the screws on both sides of the treadmill to either loosen or tighten the belt. The treadmill also comes with an electronic display that tracks speed, distance, time, and calories (battery included). The only bad thing about the electronic display was it never cuts off unless you take the battery out. When folding the treadmill you will have to unscrew a certain piece from the bottom of the treadmill, fold it up, and put the screw back in at the top.

Also, the tighter the belt….the harder it is to walk.

Its not that its a cheap product, its not that its not sturdy, if you can controll a slick conveyerbelt with your body wight, be my guest.. but when running or walking the force is so strong you would have to hold on so hard that staying on would be more of a work out and burddon than its 119$ is worth. you couldnt pay me to use this product

This treadmill is easy for me to move. It is quiet for TV watching. A hole in the shipping box resulted in a missing bolt. I wrote to the company and received the bolt in the mail within days of the request. Probably not good machine for jogging. The adjustable grade gives a good workout.

Best Cheap Treadmills To Buy

Smooth Fitness 5.45When you go buying a treadmill you are certain to come across a vast range of choices that are sure to baffle you and make your purchase difficult. Therefore, the smartest thing to do is not only to decide in advance your budget and the features you require in your treadmill, but also the most viable brand and model.

Here is a brief comparative review of three extremely common treadmill options:

Gold’s Gym VX 5000: This one comes with a huge motor operating on a 2.5 HP motor plus a warranty period of 12 years. It is also compatible with the iFit. However the most striking features are the fans that can keep you cool. The chest sensors and the heart rate grip make it one complete machine. The purchase price is fair enough when compared with the features.

Sole F80: At $3,000 it is one of the best rated treadmills today. Though the warranty period is much lower as compared to the Gold’s gym (at only a 2 year time period), this home electric treadmill can still be trusted with durability. Its motor runs at 2.5 HP. The machine also provides you with a wireless controller of your heart rate. The control set ups are located at convenient positions so that you can make adjustments when needed without having to break your stride.

Smooth 5.45 Folding Treadmill: Just like the previous two, this treadmill motor also runs at 2.5 HP. This model is particularly suitable for those who are looking for a quality cheap treadmill. At $1,000 and a comfortable 5-year warranty on the machine parts with controlled heart rate workouts, this machine has good value.

Apart from these you can also consider options like the Vision Fitness 9200, TR2000 HRC Lifespan and BodyCraft TR1120 Foldup Treadmill. However, regardless of what you choose, make sure the treadmill you opt for is what you really need, instead of what you simply like. Many times the fancy models do not serve the purpose as well as the less fancy ones. You need to be all the more careful while making your purchase if you go buying a cheap treadmill, in order to ensure that you are opting for something with the maximum possible features at a low price.
